Foot and Ankle Repair

Through the use of Stem Cell and PRP Therapy, repairing ankle and foot damage is possible.

Many podiatrists recommend surgery for the type of foot conditions that I can treat non-surgically. The non-surgical treatments I use are organic, non-invasive, and low risk procedures that have high success rates to eliminate foot pain and reduce the severity of your foot condition.

Before you commit to potentially risky surgery, schedule a consultation today for a second opinion and we can figure out if surgery is actually necessary. Call (718) 835-0754 now!

Here is a list of foot conditions that we treat in our office:

  • Arthritis in the Foot, Ankle, and Toes
  • Bunions
  • Ankle Sprains and Fractures
  • Heel Spurs
  • Metatarsals
  • Achilles Tendinitis
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Tendinitis

PRP Injection

A PRP injection contains platelet rich plasma (PRP), an organic compound made up of platelets found in your blood. These platelets are responsible for repairing damaged tissue, wounds, and cuts. For example, when you cut yourself, it is these platelets that repair the damaged skin, closing the cut.

Platelets contain over 30 growth factors that contribute to healing any injuries. In our office, we meticulously create a richly filled compound of platelets and inject them into the damaged area of the foot and ankle. Growth factors then proceed to progressively heal the injury, eliminating much of your pain and vastly accelerating the foot's recovery process.

Stem Cell Injection

A stem cell injection utilizes the millions of stem cells that are already in your body. Stem cells have an important job. They are located in every part of the body and when the body undergoes an injury or degenerates through daily use, stem cells transform themselves into the type of tissue your body needs at the time to repair itself.

A boost of stem cells into the damaged foot and/or ankle creates new healthy tissue and restores old damaged tissue that the foot can use, repairing it's mobility and significantly reducing pain.

The most important thing is that you recover from this foot pain and can use your foot like before. Both a prp injection and stem cell injection can accomplish this goal replacing damaged tissue with healthy tissue. Foot pain is no longer necessary.

Sometimes, in severe cases, a second injection is needed to get the full benefits of this treatment. While a medical procedure is never guaranteed, both Stem Cell and PRP therapy have high success rates in accelerating the pace of you recovery.
